“The Link Co-Housing” by student Alvin Philip Marie brilliantly showcases the caliber of complete, technically grounded architectural design fostered at SEGi University. Situated in Seremban, this innovative project tackles the complexities of semi-urban living by proposing a communal lifestyle rooted in “Tropical Modernism,” utilizing a radial spatial organization to balance social connection with essential privacy. What truly distinguishes this work for our digital showcase is the student’s ability to translate high-level sustainability goals—such as solar energy integration, rainwater harvesting, and passive cross-ventilation—into rigorous, professional-grade technical documentation. Beyond compelling aesthetics, the project demonstrates a profound mastery of building mechanics through highly detailed structural axonometrics, precise fire safety diagrams, and comprehensive plumbing layouts, proving our students possess both the visionary empathy to design for communities and the hard technical skills to make those designs a reality.
